Her highest greatest public speaking achievement was winning the District Speech Contest for a Humorous Speech in Fort St John. She completed Toastmasters with the second-highest rank of Accomplished Toastmaster, Gold.  She moved to Haida Gwaii shortly after, absent of Toastmasters clubs.

She continues to utilize and develop her skills through teaching & volunteering with public speaking in our communities. She’s taught public speaking to employees in Northern Health in Queen Charlotte where she’s employed as a Practice Support Coach. She’s been the Mistress of Ceremonies for events with Doctors of BC and Pearls of the Pacific and has dabbled in local politics.
