INSTRUCTOR BIO

Jenn was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, but her heart and home reside in Haida Gwaii.  Jenn spent much of her childhood doing competitive gymnastics, and was introduced to yoga in her early twenties. She enjoyed learning from many different teachers and lineages before dedicating herself to the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar after her first retreat with Michelle Hagenson in 2014. Iyengar yoga is a passion that Jenn loves to share with her community.  She is a Registered Nurse and holds an MSc in Biology, which also informs her teaching. She enjoys helping students safely and systematically explore and expand their practice. Jenn is certified as a Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Teacher, and continues to study with her mentor Louie Ettling.
