Tuesdays from 6-7 PM, join us for family sports night at the GKNSS gym. These sessions feature open gym time as well as some skills guidance in selected sports and games. "The fastest growing sport in North America". Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications.

Public Speaking 101 is a 6-week program for only one hour every Wednesday at lunch, led by former Toastmaster Ellen Foster. The group sessions are designed to be interactive and will provide tips on leadership skills, interview skills, creating a good first impression and how to be an improved Public Speaker. Play like a pro! Join Whitecaps FC Northwest on Haida Gwaii for a 2.5 day skills training camp in your community! These Spring Break camps are designed to build players' knowledge of soccer & their abilities on the field through drills & scrimmages led by skilled coaches. Open to all youth (co-ed) ages 8 - 14 years, with two camps north & south island.

Spend your Spring Break with Jamie & Karen, in partnership with the QC & Skidegate Youth Centres, exploring themes like respect, responsibility & interconnection through yoga, arts, crafts and adventures!  Each day will start with yoga activities followed by snacks and crafts like painting and printmaking. Youth will go on outdoor adventures in the community each day, play interactive games and spending time at the parks.  Open to kids ages 7-12 years. Sign up for one week or both weeks!
