Training is provided by HIGH FIVE A quality standard for children's sport and recreation Founded by Parks and Recreation Ontario. The cost includes all training materials participants get to take home and catered lunch. The cost is $50 per course. Location for both days of training is the Board Room at Gudangaay Tlaats'gaa Naay in Masset. There are 15 spaces for each day of training and participants will receive a certificate of completion. Upon receipt of the Certificate participants are able to access free training online through HIGH FIVE.

Dancers will learn 1-2 pieces of contemporary choreography and have opportunities to explore improv and creating their own choreography. CREATIVE MOVEMENT AND BEGINNER BALLET (Ages 5 - 7) A fun introduction to the basics of ballet technique, rhythm and contemporary dance.  We'll create dances inspired by stories and a wide range of music.

Alternate Fitness Program is a FREE modified fitness class for those of middle-age and seniors, who would like bring some fitness into their lives. It is also open specifically for those at risk for, or currently living with, chronic diseases such as diabetes, osteoporosis, and arthritis. Instructors will lead you through a series of cardio, strength, flexibility and balance exercises to eventually make a more mobile and healthier YOU.

CREATIVE DANCE AGES 5-6 (45 minutes) Explore the basic building blocks of ballet/contemporary dance forms through creative play.  This program focuses on social emotional development through interactive games using movement vocabulary drawn from contemporary and ballet dance forms.  Little ones develop a sense of autonomy with opportunities to share and express their creative voices.  We begin to explore the Five Elements of Dance, which make the foundation of all dance forms.
